ARE YOU INTO VINTAGE ? Well maybe you need to visit Jet Rag on Labrea Blvd. Just 2 blocks north of Pink's Hot Dogs on Melrose. I went on Sunday to check it out and came up on some really good stuff. As you can see in the photos above, those are just some of the findings you can discover inside of Jet Rag. Sundays from 8am-12p are Vintage $1 sales! Everything is $1 except the leather jackets and vintage vests. Those are $1o. You must get there early so you can really dig in and find some GOODIES!
Even though I live minutes away from Jet Rag (and never realized that i've passed it so many times), one of my twitter friends @ONIfashion recommended it to me, so i'm now sharing it with you! Happy Shopping!

This girl is pure DOPENESS! I love her. I enjoy reading her blog, I see a lot of similarities between us. She's very much into fashion and art. Especially the art of photography, like myself. She has her own T-shirt line called "VIOLETTE". Pretty cool shirts. Nothing that we've never seen, but like I ALWAYS SAY millions of people are models, designers, rappers, singers, etc BUT, not everyone has the same exact vision. They may be similar in ways, but it's always that person's individual twist that makes it different. Her clothing line has THAT individual twist. I love clothing that isn't world known. That means it's very rare that someone will have the same thing as you. That's why a lot of people like online shopping. I'd definitely wear her shirts and hopefully one day she'll be wearing mine! : ) hehehe..

So, within this past week alone, I have been surrounded by too many deaths. I don't know what's going on that everyone keeps dying SO SOON! I mean, I know it's apart of LIFE" but did they really need to leave this earth soo early ?? This just shows that we take life for granted everyday. Everyone in one way or another are constantly trying to hurt ones who they call their "friends" but, don't realize that they can be taken away from you any second. So all of these petty arguments, Fake friendships, users, and just taking people for granted period needs to END! The people you're hurting will either get tired of you and distance themselves and you'll end up alone, or their life could suddenly, somehow be taken away and you'll really be alone living with regret. Live life and enjoy life. Spend lots of time with your family and not ALL on partying, communicate within your friendships if something is wrong, do your part and meet those who have done shit for you halfway. What i'm saying is DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO MAKE IT WORK! Life is becoming too cut-throat to keep taking it and everyone around you for granted. would you rather lose your "pride" for 5 minutes or would you rather lose a "friend" or relative for life due to stubbornness ?? You don't want anyone who you supposedly love or care for leaving this world all of a sudden and you never even got the chance to speak your last words. I've seen a lot of that happening. Is it worth it ?

JL's NEW LINE...
SO, I finally got my clothing line copy written! Yay for meeee ! I am now the owner of Mulholland Drive Clothing. I love the name, always have. I thought it would be pretty cool to name my line after one of my favorite streets LOL. Kind of like, Hollister, which is a street located in Santa Monica. But, for myself my main focus are dope t-shirts and maybe some really nice tote bags (my fav). Baby steps. I've always wanted my own clothing line since I was young, so now I'm making it happen. I support everyone with everything they do and MORE, so we'll see if I get shown love in return. Once I design my first few shirts, etc I will set up a photoshoot to display them. Be on The lookout! "Mulholland Dr. Street Fashion Near you." ;-)

MALENA...
MALENA is actually one of my favorite foreign films. It stars Monica Bellucci. She is an absolutely stunning and amazing actress. I haven't seen this film since about 9th grade, but I remember it was very good and pretty hilarious in the process. Thanks to my mother, I'm very much into old black & white films // shows, as well as different genres of music, and cuisine. I love her for giving me that sense of "exploring." You guys should definitely check it out if you get a chance. It does have english sub-titles throughout the film when needed, so don't worry!
