GROWING up, I was very much into History. BLACK History to be exact. Throughout school we probably only learned a chapter of it every year. (I went to predominately white schools). So, I use to take it upon myself to read up on it during my spare time. I became fascinated with learning about slavery and our ancestors. Watching movies on it, etc. Harriett Tubman was one of my heroes. One of the strongest women during that time. Amazing. This month I am posting at least one African American Role Model on my blog just to show respect and let them know that even if we as humans do stupid shit and take life for granted sometimes, we do appreciate them for opening the doors for us that we have access to, today. The possibilities for us as a people, are simply ......ENDLESS.
