INFLUENCED, INSPIRED OR JUST IMITATING ??

SO, as most of you know, I sit back and analyze everything. I think about the most random things. I observe a lot. I think about different kind of sitchos. I thought about something. We ALL "think" we're orginal // different, but in reality we're not. There's always a thousand more people who are similar or the same as us or who were doing what we enjoy doing before us. BUT, you can always tell who's imitating just to be doing something and who's not.

WHEN you start smoking weed, drinking, cursing, etc, those could be considered signs of being influenced or you can be imitating someone just to be "cool." When you see an outfit on a celebrity and you want it, that can be considered being inspired , influenced and even imitating! When you get the same tattoos as rihanna, dye your hair pink like nikki, and dress like gaga, those are considered Imitating. If you were inspired, then you would do something "similar" to what they did and not completely copy it and use it as your own.

when you really sit back and think about shit like that, the logic makes some kind of sense. Everyone's a rapper" now, as if it's an easy job. IT'S NOT! and those people would be considered "imitators." why? Because it's not orginal and they just started to "rap" 4 months ago. IF it is inspiration, then those that are inspired would put more effort into the new found "talent" and make sense within their lyrics and not try to do it just because EVERYONE else is doing it. That's IMITATING.

you may not know or believe this, but we are influenced everyday! Especially within the media. video games = influence. T.V/Movies =influence Fashion=Influence. The list goes on. We all copy something or somebody, but like i said, you can always tell who the imitators are and who really loves it. In order to be original we must add a "twist" to whatever it is we are doing. That will allow us to stand out. I use to feel like some people were "copying" me LOTS of times, and they probably were, it was just TOO OBVIOUS, but I had to sit back and think, maybe i did something that truly "inspired" them. To others it was pure imitation, but sometimes we need to sit back and think of the whole picture. Read between the lines.

I know a lot of things that i do, i became INSPIRED by my mother. Some things could've been imitation, but nah, we're the same yet completely DIFFERENT! the music i listen to, my love for writing, fashion, makeup, etc was ALL inspirations from my mother. I was very into all of the things i just named since i could talk, EXCEPT makeup. I didn't get into that until late high school. If my mother wasn't the type of person she was, I'd probably be soooo close minded. She's so "diverse" per say. I thank god for her, because if it weren't for her, my style would be BORING and my thought process would be SHALLOW. lmao!!

we are ALL the same, yet completely different. Get to know people and you'd be surprised at how similar you and others are. We're just all going down different paths...
